Rated ‘Good’ by CQC
In 2018 the CQC inspected all our services and sites and rated the overall quality of our services as ‘Good’ – the rating provides evidence that the our services are safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. Two of the our core services – Forensic inpatient services and Wards for people with a learning disability – have been rated ‘Outstanding.’

2017 Staff Survey
The results of the 2017 NHS National Staff Survey have been published and the Trust has consistently scored above average, with 77% of staff recommending it as a place to work and receive treatment.
Building on the success of past years, staff motivation continues to be an area where the Trust is performing well, as well as the quality of training, learning and development opportunities. In addition to this 78% of staff were highly satisfied with the quality of work and care they are able to deliver.
HPFT staff scored higher than the national average in five key areas:
Staff agree that they feel motivated in their jobs
Staff agree that the Trust uses patient and service user feedback effectively
They would recommend the Trust as a place to work or receive treatment
They feel that the Trust provides high quality appraisals, non-mandatory training, and learning and development.
HSJ Top 100
